Training is mandatory for anyone working with elevated work platform equipment such as boom lifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts. The course covers all scissor, push-around, straight-stick boom, and articulating boom lifts.

Practical evaluation is required to complete the certification process and can be performed by a supervisor or other authorised personnel.
